Pode SOLDAR a armadura para construção (aço CA50)?

A NBR 6118: 2014 apresenta a emenda das barras, segundo um dos seguintes tipos:

a) por traspasse (ou transpasse);

b) por luvas com preenchimento metálico, rosqueadas ou prensadas;

c) por solda;

d) por outros dispositivos devidamente justificados.

Ahh.. então pode neh? Depende!

Normalmente, o aço CA50 nervurado (laminado a quente) – que é o mais comum no nosso dia a dia, não é soldável!

Exceto os que sejam indicados pelo fabricante (como o aço CA50S da ArcelorMittal). A norma ABNT NBR 8965 determina os limites para que o aço seja considerado soldável.

Posso utilizar qualquer tipo de solda?

Existem dois tipos de solda utilizados em barras de aço construção civil:

1. Solda estrutural: (traspasse, por exemplo)

2. Solda não-estrutural: (Solda de posicionamento dos elementos estruturais para substituir arame recozido.)

Em ambos, deve-se utilizar solda e eletrodos específicos ( GMAW – MIG MAG)
